The Plan Tab now lets you jump back to any past month and see how your budget actually ended. You can quickly check your leftover, spending, and income for that period with accurate end-of-month snapshots. Let’s take a look at how to use it.
How to switch to a previous month
At the top of the Plan Tab, you’ll see the currently selected month. Tap it to open the month picker.
Choose any available month, and the Plan Tab will load a preserved snapshot of your financial plan exactly as it looked at the end of that month.
The list of available months begins with the earliest transaction in your account.
If your oldest synced or manually added transaction is from June 2024, that will be the first month you can view.
Note: The picker allows you to view only one month at a time. Selecting custom date ranges or reviewing multiple months together is not currently supported.
What information becomes available for past months
When viewing a previous month, the Plan Tab displays the final state of all components for that month: income, bills, category budgets, leftover amounts, and other key indicators.
This snapshot reflects the exact outcome of your financial activity for the selected month.
Can I edit past months?
Past months are shown in a read-only mode, so editing isn’t available there. You won’t be able to create or adjust budgets, bills, goals, or other Plan Tab items, and navigation into their detailed views is also limited. This view is designed to help you review historical data without making changes to it.
Historical vs. Defined: What’s the Difference?
Depending on the month you’re viewing, your data may appear in one of two formats: the Defined Model, which shows an exact snapshot based on the plan data we’ve stored since this feature became available, or the Historical Model, which reconstructs earlier months using your transaction history to give you an informed overview of your past financial activity.
How to return to the current month
Open the month picker again and tap Reset to immediately return to your current Plan Tab view.
This feature is currently available on iOS. Android support will be added in an upcoming release.
